Refund policy

This policy sets out your rights to cancel, return and obtain a refund when you buy from FitMedix (Lodhata Limited). It applies alongside your legal rights and does not affect them.

Your 14-day right to cancel

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you may cancel most online orders within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving a reason. To cancel, tell us within that period through our contact page or by emailing sales@lodhatadistribution.co.uk with your order number. You then have a further 14 days to return the goods.

Sterile and hygiene products

Many of our products are supplied sterile and individually sealed. For health and hygiene reasons, once a sealed dressing, swab, closure strip or similar product has been unsealed it cannot be returned unless it is faulty. This is a lawful exemption to the right to cancel (Regulation 28). Sealed, unopened items in resaleable condition can be returned as above.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect items

If an item arrives faulty, damaged or not as described, your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply. Contact us within a reasonable time and we will arrange a replacement or a full refund, including any return postage, once the issue is confirmed. Please do not use a product you believe to be faulty.

Refunds

We refund to your original payment method within 14 days of receiving the returned goods, or of you providing proof of return, whichever is sooner. For cancelled (non-faulty) orders we refund the price of the goods and standard outbound delivery; you are responsible for the cost of returning the items.

How to return

Please contact us first so we can confirm the return address and reference. Return items securely, ideally in their original packaging, and obtain proof of postage. We cannot be responsible for items lost in return transit without proof of postage.
